A nurse assistant performs basic medical tasks under the supervision of registered nurses or doctors. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, assisting with medical procedures, and providing direct patient care in healthcare settings such as hospitals and nursing homes.
A caregiver, on the other hand, provides non-medical support and assistance to individuals who need help with daily activities. Caregivers often work in home settings and help with tasks such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and companionship. While they may have some basic healthcare training, the role is more focused on providing personal care and support rather than medical tasks.
